About this Course:
This course offers a recording of the 2025 Music and Mental Health: Science, Therapy, Sound Healing Symposium. Hosted by the Institute for Music and Neurologic Function at the Glasshouse in New York City, this event explores the transformative impact of music on mental health and wellness. It is ideal for practitioners, caregivers, and anyone passionate about the healing power of music. There are no prerequisites to take this course.
This course is valued at 3.75 contact hours for NAB, 4 CMTE’s for MT-BC’s, 4 continuing education credits for LCATs (NYSED), and 180 min (0.3 CEU's) for NCTRC. Participants will receive a certificate of completion and should refer to their respective professional requirements for continuing education.
Music, Brain Health and Music-Based Interventions in Senior Wellness and Healthcare is approved by the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT) for 4 CMTE’s Continuing Music Therapy Education credits.
